PARENT AND STUDENT INFO AND TIPS

Welcome to engineering!  Below are a list of tips to help ensure SUCCESS in engineering. 

 

PARENT TIPS/INFO

  1. Read the weekly emails so you can have conversations about what is happening in class. 

  2. Encourage your student not to fall behind. 

  3. Check your student's notebook periodically to make sure they are staying current and organized.

  4. Visit the Web Links to see websites that will allow you access to activities and co-curricular links.

STUDENT TIPS/INFO

  1. Keep a list of your usernames and passwords.  

  2. Make sure you organize your files on the computer.  

  3. Don't fall behind in class.

  4. Make sure you keep your Engineering Design notebook organized. 

  5. Always have a positive attitude.  Everything you do will not be easy, but you will learn from your difficulties. 

  6. Get involved in the co-curricular engineering activities - TSA and VEX Robotics.  

  7. Visit the Web Links to see websites that will allow you access to activities and co-curricular links.
